നേരത്തെ, തബ്ലീഗ് മത സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത വിവരം മറച്ചുവെച്ച അലഹബാദ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി പ്രൊഫസര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 30 പേരെ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. സര്‍ക്കാരില്‍ നിന്നും യാത്രാ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ മറച്ചുവെച്ചതിനും യാത്രാ മാര്‍ഗ്ഗനിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ ലംഘിച്ചതിനുമാണ് ഇവരെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. ഇതില്‍ 16 പേര്‍ വിദേശ പൗരന്മാരാണ്.

Following the completion of the probation period, 66 foreign tablig members were sent to jail. The action was taken on a directive issued by the chief minister's office.
The suspects have been shifted to a temporary jail in Uttar Pradesh's Shaharanpur. They have been charged with violating visa rules. They were taken to the Tareli observatory. Most of them are citizens of Indonesia and Sudan.
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh police had arrested 30 people, including a professor at the Allahabad University, who had concealed information about attending the Tabliq religious conference. They were arrested for hiding travel information from the government and violating travel guidelines. Of these, 16 are foreign nationals.
